This does not look like “mending ties” to me. It looks more like basic crisis management. Manila is keeping the door open because China is too important to ignore, but the core dispute in the South China Sea is still exactly where it was.

Narine is probably the most KKR player ever. Not always the biggest superstar, not always the loudest name, but somehow always central to what the team is trying to do. Bowl in any phase, slow the game down, break rhythm, then come out and smash 30 off 12 like it is a bonus feature. That kind of player is almost impossible to replace.

Social media can help spread ideas, expose corruption, and challenge powerful people, but it cannot replace real governance. Roads, schools, hospitals, drainage, policing, local corruption complaints — these things require boring long-term work, not just emotional speeches into a camera.

People are acting like removing one minister will magically stop paper leaks. The real issue is the entire exam ecosystem.

Good article. Swachh Bharat changed the conversation, but now India needs to move from campaign mode to daily system mode.

The mission deserves credit for making sanitation a national topic. Earlier, people barely discussed toilets, garbage, or civic hygiene seriously.

The funny thing is that people will call this “strong diplomacy” just because there were cameras, flags, handshakes, and some polished statements. But the real question is very simple: what did the US actually get? Did China change its position on Taiwan? No. Did trade tensions disappear? No. Did tech competition slow down? No. Did China distance itself from Russia? No. Did Beijing make any serious concessions on human rights or regional security? Not really. So what was the big win here? From the outside, it looks like China got the better part of the deal. Xi got to host the US president, present himself as calm and in control, and show the world that Washington still has to come to Beijing and negotiate. Trump got the image of a major visit, but not the substance of a major victory. That is not deal-making. That is letting the other side win the optics while you sell the ceremony as a success.

Talent returning is good. Turning that talent into innovation, jobs, and companies is the hard part. India should not just celebrate NRIs coming back. It should make it easier for them and local talent to build something useful together.

We live in a free world, so everyone can write what they believe. But calling every opinion you disagree with “IT Cell” is not debate. Sometimes people simply think differently. Don’t let propaganda make you see every opposing view as paid or fake.

You called it a "Coakroach Janta Party clone," but a clone of what exactly? Are you suggesting that someone owns the word "Coakroach" and nobody else can use a similar variation? As far as this platform is concerned, it is not a political party, and it is not created, funded, or backed by any sitting MPs. If you think it's a clone, point to the ownership, funding, content, or policies that make it one. Simply calling everything you disagree with an IT Cell project doesn't make it true.

No one can seriously deny that freebie politics is becoming a major problem. In many ways, it's even more dangerous than caste or religious politics because the economic consequences can last for decades. That said, the solution is not to create another division by separating citizens into taxpayers and non-taxpayers. Democracy works best when rights are equal, even if responsibilities are not. I don't have the perfect solution either, but constantly inventing new categories to divide people is probably not it.

They are desperate to get a comment from any high-profile celebrity so that they can cash in on it for the next few; I remember how the IAC/AAP movement wanted Amir Khan to get associated with it. Also, if it gets bigger, of course, so extereme left wing lunatic will say some stupid stuff

Maybe it's time to retire the term **POK**. The territory under Pakistani control is not just Kashmir. It also includes large parts of the former princely state of Jammu & Kashmir beyond what most people imagine when they hear "POK". Wouldn't **POJK** be more accurate?

It's not the organization, but the journalists working on India/Pakistan in these news organizations are just a bunch of left-wing lunatics. What else can you expect from them? 90% of them are Pakistani origin, and most of them are also in ISI payroll.

No matter what logic we use, there will be someone who won't like the approach because there will always be some people or states who feel like they're losing out. The best option is to postpone by 15-20 years
